During the past two years we have been involved with our software providers in the development of software which will revolutionise communication and integration with our clients, as well as bench marking and incentivising our driving staff to improve quality.
Fleet size: 37 Daf trucks controlled by satnav and pda units for drivers, 42 curtain side trailers.
Operating centre: Broadmead Lane Keynsham Bristol. Four container dock levellers and six side loading spaces cross docking from dock levellers, all under cover.
Road Haulage Association Warehouse: Capacity 6,500 pallets stored in narrow isle locations, stock controlled with RF Barcode Scanning. Product stock can be controlled via link to customer. All transient and deep storage freight are tracked through our warehouse with barcode and RF scanning with the capability for full audit trail.
Now, with the Tavistock depot operational, a more efficient service to open up the gateway to the South West will be provided with local deliveries and collections to Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall. Also, a direct daily service to Ireland, taking advantage of our full range of equipment and services.
